Nadir Godrej honoured with Leadership And Excellence Award 2017

Mumbai, 17^th February, 2017: Nadir Godrej, Managing Director and a visionary from Godrej Industries Limited received the prestigious Leadership and Excellence Award 2017 Hall of Fame at a spectacular event ChemTech Awards, held in Mumbai. The award recognizes and applauds the revolutionary efforts of those who have played an important role in the downstream chemicals industry and allied industrial sectors.

Mr. Nadir Godrej, Managing Director, Godrej Industries Limited said, “I am extremely pleased to be honoured with this distinguished title. It is recognition of the untiring and dedicated efforts of our team towards constantly pursuing novel technologies and innovative ideas in pursuit of excellence. This recognition further strengthens our determination to enhance customer satisfaction and reinforce our numero uno position in the marketplace.”
 
A veteran of the Indian industry, Mr. Nadir has played an important role in developing the animal feed, agricultural input and chemicals businesses owned by Godrej. His active interest in research related to these areas has resulted in several patents in the field of agricultural chemicals and surfactants. With his tremendous experience and expertise, Mr. Nadir has also contributed to the development of a variety of industries by participating keenly in industry bodies such as the Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association of India, Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association, and Oil Technologists' Association of India
 
Currently, Mr. Nadir is the President of Alliance Française de Bombay. He is also a Member of the CII National Council and Chairman of the CII National Committee on Chemicals. Recently, he was conferred a Lifetime Achievement Award by ‘The All India Liquid Bulk Importers and Exporters Association (AILBIEA) at their 16th Anniversary celebrations on April 1, 2016. He has also been awarded the Chevalier de Legion d'Honneur, Globoil Life Time Achievement Award – 2012, OTAI Life Time Achievement Award – 2012, Chemtech CEW Leadership & Excellence Award -2013, and Chemexcil Life Time Achievement Award – 2013. 

For his contribution to IndoFrench relations, the French Government has honoured him with the awards of "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite" and "Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur". A Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, Mr. Nadir completed his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
