Society of Dyers and Colourists Education Charity (SDC EC, India) is proud to announce its 11th International Conference with the theme:
“Innovations for Sustainable Textile Production … Connecting the Dots”,
A one day conference, scheduled for Friday, 20th February 2015, at The Lalit, Sahar, Mumbai, The theme speaks volumes about the need to improve production practices for sustainable working and growth of the Textile Industry. An approach, synchronizing the developments in processing machinery, chemicals & dyestuffs and effluent treatment methods, is desired. This conference aims to address the problems faced by the Textile Industry, with regards to effective use of fast depleting natural resources and curtail its adverse environmental impacts.
The conference will provide an insight to the possible solutions to the Textile Processing Industry for cleaner and greener chemicals and dyestuffs, sustainable processing techniques, better processing machinery and effective effluent treatment methods.
The event will start with a Panel Discussion on the conference theme. This panel will bring together representatives from Brands, Chemical companies, Garment manufacturers, Machinery manufacturers, Laboratories and Textile Processors. Mr. Brett Mathews, Co-Editor, Eco-Textile News, UK has kindly agreed to moderate this session. Speakers of global repute will be sharing their knowledge in this conference.
Participation of complete textile supply and value chain and International brands along with presentations from well-known international speakers on contemporary technical topics makes this event hard to miss! Up to 500 delegates are expected to attend this conference.
