PTBP is also used in the manufacturing process PTBP formaldehyde resin for surface coating applications which has an end use as tackifier for synthetic Rubber and as an adhesives in tyre industry. PTBP is an important raw material in the perfume industry. PTBP can be used as UV absorbent, anti-chaps for pesticide, rubber, coatings and as an effective antioxidant for lubricating oil.
