"Kaolin" is a raw material characterized by the only mineral such as Ca and Na montmoryonite (bentonite) among the clay raw materials, in other words kaolinite mineral. In industrial use, it is included in the statistics under "kaolin" as "calcined". Raw materials in which kaolinite is enriched among kaolinitic clays are included as "kaolin" and others are included in clay raw materials, regardless of their origin.
