Sodium is the principal cation of the extracellular fluid and plays a large part in fluid and electrolyte replacement therapies. Sodium Acetate Anhydrous is manufactured by method in which sodium acetate trihydrate is heated between 120 degrees Celsius and 130 degrees Celsius, then the sodium acetate trihydrate is decompressed and concentrated, cooled and crystallized, and dried to get the anhydrous sodium acetate.
